More Than a Mow: Coring, Scarifying, Feeding and Weed Control
If your lawn is patchy, spongy underfoot or letting water run straight off, mowing alone won’t fix it. Coring pulls small plugs of soil from the lawn to relieve compaction, so water, air and fertiliser can reach the roots. Scarifying cuts out the layer of dead runners and thatch that smothers new growth.

What's the difference between coring and scarifying?
Coring, also called aeration, removes small plugs of soil across the lawn. It relieves compacted ground so water and fertiliser soak in instead of running off, which makes a real difference in clay-heavy soils. Scarifying removes thatch, the mat of dead grass and runners that builds up above the soil and chokes new growth. Plenty of lawns benefit from both. When we come out for your free on-site quote, we’ll look at your lawn and recommend what it actually needs.
Can you get rid of the weeds in my lawn?
Yes. We spray lawns for broadleaf weeds such as clover and bindii, and we offer a full range of weed control across the rest of your yard, including hand weeding, spraying and slashing. If you’d rather avoid chemical sprays, organic options are available on request. Pairing weed control with seasonal fertilising helps too, because a thicker, healthier lawn leaves weeds less room to establish.
